The meadow is where the hours go. Pink, white, yellow and red blooms packed into the bottom third, each with dark stems between them, dozens of small areas side by side.

Between the two, a green valley with a river running through it gives you a stretch of broad, easy shapes to reset on.

The number in the version name is just how many pots of paint come in the box. Twenty-four is what this design was drawn for, since nothing on the canvas fades from one tone into another, and the flat shapes stay crisp with that palette. The 36-color version adds twelve more pots, which splits the blues in the mountain and the greens in the meadow into finer steps and gives the distant peaks a bit more air. It also adds numbered areas, so plan on more time.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
