Black and White Santorini Paint by Numbers Kit

Santorini needs no color when the walls are this white and the domes this dark. Domed chapels and a bell tower step down a cliffside toward the sea, with the sun low and a glittering path across the water.

Everything in this black and white Santorini paint by numbers kit comes down to light on whitewashed plaster, and the detail is advanced: flower-draped terraces, stone steps, a bell in its arch, and sparkle across the sea.

Painters who like clean architectural edges beside a glowing evening sky will find both here.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas the sea fills the upper left and the whitewashed village climbs the right side, with the stone steps leading in from the lower right.

The white walls are broad, bright planes against dark domes, which 24 colors keeps clean, and the sun path on the sea stays a bold streak of light. 36 colors adds more steps in the cliff shadow, the sky, and the flowers, so the evening glow turns smoother.

We recommend the 24-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
