Black and White Venice Canal Paint by Numbers Kit

Every ripple on this canal repeats a shape from the buildings above it. This black and white Venice canal paint by numbers kit shows gondolas moored beside striped mooring poles, a stone bridge, and a domed church at the end of the water.

24 colors gives the water bold, high-contrast bands and keeps the striped poles and the bridge balustrade crisp. 36 colors adds middle grays across the canal, the stone facades, and the clouds, so the light moves more gradually.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas the canal runs from the lower left back toward the bridge, with the domed church in the upper middle. Rippled reflections, rows of windows, balustrade posts, and hanging flowers make this an advanced canvas.

A gift idea for a traveler who has already walked these canals, since the gondolas, the bridge, and the domed church make the place recognizable at a glance.

We recommend the 24-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
