The white space also makes this a manageable project. You're painting one subject, not a whole scene, and the splatter marks are quick satisfying dots at the end.

The 24-color version keeps the wolf bold and graphic, with the blues reading as strong flat shapes. This design suits the 36-color set better: the coat runs from pale ice blue through teal to deep indigo and violet, and those close steps are what give a watercolor wolf its translucent look rather than a solid block of color. We recommend the 36-color version for this design.
