Brown Owl Paint by Numbers Kit

Bird lovers who enjoy intricate feather patterns have a detailed subject in this owl paint by numbers kit. A brown owl perches on a diagonal branch before a golden sunburst, with leafy ornaments and terracotta arches around it.

The 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas gives the owl's amber gaze a prominent place amid the repeating botanical patterns.

The small feather markings surrounding the eyes and pointed ear tufts require accurate placement to keep the cream, russet, and dark brown sections distinct. The circular ornament introduces a different painting rhythm through its repeating arcs and leaf shapes.

At 24 colors, the owl's outer wing feathers form defined bands of amber and chestnut that complement the decorative setting. With 36 colors, the pale feather rings around the eyes retain more gradual shading between cream and tan.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
