The lower half belongs to the flowers — orange and pink daisies scattered through tall grass, each one small, each one its own set of numbers. That section takes the longest and it's where the canvas earns its color.

Behind it the sea works differently. Bands of turquoise into deep blue, white foam along every wave, and the color has to shift gradually across the whole width or the water goes flat. That's the case for 36 colors here.

The 24-color version turns the same sea into cleaner, more defined bands and the clouds into simpler shapes — brighter overall, faster to finish, and closer to a travel poster in feel.

Cliffs and clouds are the easy stretches. Big areas, clear edges, good places to build momentum before you go back into the wildflowers.

Coastal without being a beach scene. This paint by numbers landscape carries more energy than calm blue water usually does, which makes it work over a desk or in a hallway rather than a bedroom.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
