Broad black and cream passages set the pace before the smaller anatomy details take over. This female torso paint by numbers kit crops a nude woman from the chest to the upper thighs, with dark drapery crossing the hips and warm gold marks breaking through the pale figure.

The fingers, hip contour, and narrow shadow changes around the abdomen require accurate placement among the heavier painted strokes. This suits an adult painter interested in expressive anatomy and restrained figure art built from a limited warm-neutral palette.

Step up to 36 colors and the gold-brown shadows across the torso and black drapery gain more intermediate tonal steps. At 24 colors, those same areas form stronger cream, ochre, charcoal, and black passages that suit the forceful palette-knife texture.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, the cropped body occupies nearly the full height. At viewing distance, the pale torso remains clearly defined against the textured black background.

We recommend the 24-color version for this design.

No experience is required. Every canvas is clearly numbered, guiding you step by step. Thousands of first-time painters have completed their first artwork with our kits – and loved the result.

You'll not only enjoy the process but also experience the "wow effect" when you see your finished painting come to life.

Everything you need arrives in one box:

• Pre-printed numbered canvas in the size shown in the Size menu above
• Acrylic paint set (24 or 36 colors – always enough to finish, and we'll send extra for free if you ever run out)
• 3 premium artist brushes (different sizes for details and larger areas)
• Reference color chart & printed guide
• Step-by-step instructions
• Optional: Pre-stretched frame (ready to hang)

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
