Jesus and Children

A tender, faith-filled piece for a Christian home. Jesus sits among three children of different backgrounds, one cradled in his arm, the others gathered close — a quiet image of love, welcome, and belonging. This religious paint by numbers carries real warmth and meaning, making it a heartfelt choice for a nursery, family room, Sunday school, or as a gift for a baptism or christening.

It speaks to people of faith who want art that reflects their beliefs, and to anyone looking for a gentle, meaningful piece for a child's space.

The soft, modern illustration style makes it wonderfully calm to paint. Clean, simple shapes and a warm muted palette mean no fussy detail — just smooth, soothing areas of color that come together gently. A lovely painting kit for a beginner, a younger painter, or anyone wanting a peaceful, low-pressure project.

The mood lives in that gentle palette: warm earthy reds, soft sage green, muted blue, and cream against a calm neutral background. Understated and serene.

On color: this design is built on flat, muted shapes, so 24 suits it perfectly — clean, soft blocks of color with the quiet contrast the style depends on. Going to 36 would add subtle shading the illustration doesn't really call for; its charm is in the simplicity. For a gentle color-by-number piece like this, 24 keeps it soft and true to the style.

We recommend the 24-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
