Mountain Waterfall Paint by Numbers Kit

The waterfall links every layer of the landscape, from the snowy mountain slopes to the stream running between foreground rocks. Pine tips, broken snow lines, rock faces, and whitewater require precise placement because small shapes repeat across several depths.

With 36 colors, the snow shadows, rock faces, and turquoise water hold more gradual shifts between sunlit and shaded areas. At 24 colors, those same passages form broader bands that strengthen the separation between peaks, forest, and water.

The 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas gives the foreground stream, central lake, waterfall, pine forest, and mountain ridge distinct layers from bottom to top.

Adult or senior painters looking for a layered wilderness subject can use the lake and waterfall as central landmarks before moving into the denser trees and rocks. The project alternates between open water and tightly broken foliage, keeping the painting rhythm varied from foreground to peaks.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
