Rainbow Castle

You'll spend most of your time in the bottom third of this canvas. The flowerbeds, the stone path and the stream are built from hundreds of small numbered shapes, and they take far longer to work through than the towers above them.

36 colors is what carries the sky. Clouds move from white through cream into pale blue, the rainbow needs its full arc, and the glow behind the spires has to fade instead of stopping.

At 24, those same passages turn cleaner and more graphic — the rainbow reads as distinct bands, the clouds as shapes — and the canvas finishes sooner.

The castle itself is the steady part. Pale stone, blue roofs, straight edges, easy to work through once the garden is behind you.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
