Red Fox Paint by Numbers Kit

The curled tail gives this fox portrait a sweeping shape at the bottom of the canvas. Its alert expression sits beneath a golden sun ornament in this fox paint by numbers kit, surrounded by dark green leaves and cream blossoms.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, the ears reach into the circular ornament while the tail curves across the foreground. The mix of botanical symmetry and a detailed animal face suits painters who enjoy wildlife subjects with folk-art decoration.

Small fur markings around the eyes and the narrow whiskers require accurate placement to preserve the fox's expression. The repeated leaf motifs introduce a more orderly painting rhythm.

Along the curled tail, 24 colors create distinct bands of rust, tan, and cream that complement the decorative background. With 36 colors, the layered fur gains more gradual shading while keeping its flowing shape.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
