Saguaro Cactus Paint by Numbers Kit

The sun is a clean circle; the desert below is all angles. On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, a towering saguaro cactus, red rock arch, and low desert plants shape this saguaro cactus paint by numbers kit.

The red rock arch shifts from broad rust planes at 24 colors to finer ochre and terracotta steps in the 36-color version. Across the cactus ribs, 24 colors keep the vertical bands crisp and graphic, while 36 colors give the greens more tonal separation.

The narrow cactus ribs, dotted sun border, and clustered desert plants require the most precision, with many small adjoining shapes to keep separate.

A painter looking for a structured desert project gets broad graphic fields in the sky and rocks, plus tighter detail in the cacti and ground plants. When finished, the large sun and saguaro stay clear from a distance while the smaller vegetation rewards a closer look.

We recommend the 24-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
