Stained Glass Hydrangea Paint by Numbers Kit

Each hydrangea cluster is built from overlapping blue, violet, and pink panes, making the flower head the densest area of the composition. Across the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, this stained glass hydrangea paint by numbers kit sets the blooms against broad green leaves, deep blue glass, and a golden disk.

It fits an experienced floral painter looking for repeated petal shapes, because the compact bloom is balanced by larger leaf and background sections.

The smallest petal sections near the center of the hydrangea and the narrow overlaps around its edge require accurate placement to keep the dark leading clearly defined.

Because the hydrangea head shifts among blue, violet, and pink panes, 36 colors preserve finer changes inside the petals and the blue background. At 24 colors, the flower and leaves resolve into broader color steps that strengthen the leaded-glass pattern.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
