Six colors, five shapes, one yellow circle — and it still fills a wall.

The tiled floor is the exception in this terracotta arch paint by numbers kit. That blue and white quatrefoil pattern repeats across the bottom quarter of the canvas in dozens of identical interlocking shapes, and getting the white lines even is what makes it read as tile instead of mush.

Above it, everything is large: an orange archway framing flat blue sky, a solid yellow sun, a row of arched railings, and hibiscus and palm leaves overlapping at the edges.

24 colors is the correct version. The design is drawn as flat blocks meeting at hard edges, and 36 colors would add shading that the composition does not use.

Warm and modern in the way a gallery print is, and it does something for a white wall that a landscape would not.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
