Two profiles share one head, and the space between them is filled with pattern instead of anatomy.

There's no shortcut through this canvas. Checkerboards, spirals, dotted bands, tiny circles inside triangles, scattered confetti across the cream background — the whole surface is broken into small numbered areas, and the faces themselves are assembled from geometric planes rather than drawn.

Painters who like a canvas they can lose an evening in will recognize what they're looking at. It's slow, it's methodical, and each pattern block is a small finished thing on its own.

There are more separate hues here than in almost anything else we carry.
