Van Gogh Style Bear Paint by Numbers Kit

Warm moonlight catches the bear's back as a river bends through dark pines beneath a spiraling blue sky. The short strokes around the eye, muzzle, paws, and layered coat require precise placement where warm browns meet deep shadows.

The Van Gogh style bear paint by numbers kit keeps the animal large in the foreground while dense painted texture continues through the landscape. Experienced wildlife painters can take on one clear bear silhouette with detailed strokes running through nearly every section.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, the bear fills much of the left side while the river reflection carries the eye toward the distant mountains.

Step up to 36 colors and the moonlit river keeps finer separation between its gold reflections and surrounding blues, while the bear's flank carries more steps from tawny brown into deep shadow. At 24 colors, the reflection forms stronger yellow-and-blue bands and the coat takes on broader blocks of brown and gold.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
