A black cat watches from the stone wall while a broom-riding witch crosses the full moon above an autumn village. This vintage witch paint by numbers kit pairs Halloween symbols with the warm, illustrated character of an old seasonal poster.

On the 16x20 in (40x50 cm) canvas, the flying figure dominates the upper half while the cat, glowing jack-o'-lantern, fall leaves, and distant rooftops build detail below.

Adult and teen painters interested in Halloween fantasy and vintage illustration get a scene with a clear central figure and smaller storybook details throughout.

The woman's face and curls, cat features, broom bristles, leaf edges, and distant windows require careful placement among the broader moon, sky, and clothing shapes.

More colors serve the face, black cat fur, and moonlit sky: 36 colors preserves softer shading and more separation within these areas. At 24 colors, the same scene takes on broader orange, teal, black, and cream shapes that strengthen its vintage-poster character.

We recommend the 36-color version for this design.

No experience is required. Every canvas is clearly numbered, guiding you step by step. Thousands of first-time painters have completed their first artwork with our kits – and loved the result.

You'll not only enjoy the process but also experience the "wow effect" when you see your finished painting come to life.

Everything you need arrives in one box:

• Pre-printed numbered canvas in the size shown in the Size menu above
• Acrylic paint set (24 or 36 colors – always enough to finish, and we'll send extra for free if you ever run out)
• 3 premium artist brushes (different sizes for details and larger areas)
• Reference color chart & printed guide
• Step-by-step instructions
• Optional: Pre-stretched frame (ready to hang)

24 or 36 colors — which version?

It's simply how many different shades the design is painted with. The 24-color version has a clean, classic look and is a little easier to paint. The 36-color version adds extra shades for smoother blending and a more realistic finish. Both come with all the paint you need to complete your canvas — the number is about shades, not how much paint.
